TERMS & CONDITIONS
|
These Terms and Conditions are the latest and supercede any earlier terms
and conditions including any supplied with pool instructions. We recommend reading this page before booking
- The pool must be kept at the address detailed in
the Rental Agreement. Our pools are for domestic indoor use only. Pools
must only be used for relaxation prior to labour by the person named on
the booking form and for labour itself
- Our assembly, filling, care and emptying
instructions must be followed exactly using the equipment supplied. We accept no responsibility for any
damage caused by not following our instructions.
Please do not overfill the chambers with air or fill with hot water.
Please fill with cold or warm water. The latter is recommended as it
heats faster. The circuit breaker provided must be used.
- We advise seeking qualified medical advice before
using the pool You use the pool of your own free will
- Heated pool:Please unpack the pool immediately upon receipt. We
clean and sterilise all pools, hoses and the pump unit the day before
sending and set the pool up to ensure it is working perfectly upon
despatch. All pools are dried as well as is possible but in order to
ensure they remain as sterile and clean as possible we advise not
leaving them in the boxes.
Heated pool: Please check the pool is working
upon receipt and check that all items supplied by us are present. If
anything is missing or not working correctly then you will have ample time
for us to sort any problem or advise. Leaving it until labour occurs often
causes distress which could have been avoided. If there is a problem with
your pool then we will do all we can to sort the problem. All pools are
checked and run prior to sending to ensure that they leave us working
perfectly. We will assume that your pool is working correctly after 7 days
from receipt have elapsed. If you find a fault then we will endeavour to
fix the fault but should this not be possible we will refund you for the
amount of time left on your rental period should you not choose or be able
to to use the pool in any way for the birth. We assume that the pool has
been used for relaxation in the days or weeks prior to labour (heated pool
only) and this is chargeable.
Up to 2 weeks rental is £149 with
further weeks being charged in proportion.
- Deposits & Payment.
Deposits & Payment.
We
will hold any provisional booking for you for 5 days pending payment
of the booking deposit. If you need longer to pay and return the signed contract
please contact us. Return of 2 signed booking forms and the deposit or
full payment will hold the pool for you as long as we have confirmed
availability (ie don't return forms without first having contacted us to
confirm we have a pool which we can hire to you!)
If the deposit is not received after this time (5 days) we will
offer the pool to any other potential customer.
The balance of payment is due 21 days before the start of the
agreed rental date. It is your duty to ensure that full payment is sent in
time. If full payment is not received within 3 weeks of the rental period and
another customer requests a pool we will usually try to contact you (usually
via email) to ensure payment is on its way but if no payment or reply is
received within 3 days of this date we reserve the right to cancel the
booking. If you need longer to pay please contact us. if you wish to
cancel your booking, having paid a deposit, please contact us.
If you book within 3 weeks of rental full payment is needed
immediately.
- In all cases any refund is limited to the cost of rental

when sent but we ask that you run the pool as soon as received, if
faulty, so any
faults can be quickly resolved. Please see (5) above). Please remember that certain parts are sterile and if you wish to
return the pool under the Distance Selling regulations, these parts must remain
sterile and unused.
- We send pools by insured courier unless collected
by you. Delivery and collection times will be between 9am and 6pm. I am
sorry but we can not tell you the exact time. Our couriers do not
specify an exact delivery time. Please ensure that someone will be in to
sign for the boxes
We book the courier the day before it is due to be collected
from us. Once the courier has been booked and paid for by us the courier
charge both ways is non refundable should you choose to cancel.
We send via Next Day courier delivery but are not responsible if pools
do not arrive the next day or the courier fails to collect on time from
us. We will be able to provide you with a tracking number once the pool
has been collected should you wish to track the status or collect from
the courier depot. We offer no compensation for late courier delivery.
Should a pool be returned under the DSR then courier costs are non
refundable
- Return of pools is on a day to suit on or before
the specified return date. Please note that if you are not in when the
courier calls (if appropriate) then delivery will need to be rebooked
and this will incur an extra charge (usually £35) at your expense. Collections
are usually made between 9am and 6pm but a time can not be guaranteed.
We arrange collection from the address specified on the booking form. If
you have moved or want it collected from an alternate address please
submit another booking form with corrected details and/or inform us of
the address when you call to arrange collection. Should this not be done
you will be responsible for additional courier costs of £35 should we
need to re-book the courier.
Please ensure you ask for and receive tracking numbers from the courier
(ie the Manifest).
Without tracking numbers you would be liable for loss or damage in
transit should this occur. We insure all parcels and tracking numbers
are needed to validate the insurance with the courier. If a claim needs
to be made for loss or damage in transit please forward the manifest to
us immediately no claims made to date though!!)
- Do not smoke around the pool or bring unnecessary
sharp objects near. If a pet (or you!) damages the pool then you will be liable to replace any
damaged parts. Do not use oil in the pool and ensure you have no oils
on you prior to entering (eg after a massage) If the pool or any equipment loaned to you along with
the pool is damaged due to your negligence then you are liable for the
full repair or replacement cost payable at the end of
the rental agreement and any subsequential loss suffered due to the pool
being out of action until repaired.
- If a fault develops then please contact us
immediately. Do not try and fix the pool yourself without our consent. We will aim to fix or
replace the pool as soon as possible but if this cant be done then we will
refund as in point 5.
- The retainer fee will be destroyed approx 10 days
after the pool has reached us safely - any damage or stains will be
deducted from the retainer fee (we will contact you by email before this
is done).
A minimum of £50 will be charged for any
bodily fluids left in or on any part of the pool to cover cleaning and the
risks involved in this. Bad staining will usually necessitate replacing
the stained part.
Use of spare filter is £10 or spare disposible liner
for Hexagonal non heated pool at £30.
Please clean and dry the pool thoroughly
before return and pack it properly - wet boxes are charged at £15 each if
we need to replace due to a wet pool.
It is your duty to ensure proper
packing tape is used and to ensure all boxes are secure,
Damage caused
by negligent packaging will be at your expense. Payment will be due for any damage done
to the pool due to negligent misuse including overfilling, puncturing the
pool or anything else which results in damage to the pool or the Power
Pack unit. This includes damage caused to the pool or parts caused by
negligent packaging if returned by courier or damage caused by water if
the pool or hoses are not dried before return. Pools are set up and tested overnight
usually within 10 days of
return to ensure there is no damage or missing parts. Should faults be found
that have been caused by your negligence you may
either source the parts yourself or pay us the exact cost of replacing
them should damage be caused by you. By taking out a booking you
are agreeing to these terms and conditions including reimbursing us the
cost of replacing any damaged parts.
If using a courier please pack the pool equally into the 2 boxes
provided. Each parcel should weigh no more than 30kg
- Do not lift the Power Pack by the Airlock loop. The
correct filling and emptying hoses must be used to ensure water safety for
you and future customers. Do not drop the powerpack or twist or bend/force
any of the connections
- The pool is only to be used as a birthing pool and
for relaxation before and after the birth. We advise not using the jets
when pregnant
- Hexagonal pool only.
This is for domestic
use only.
If the liner is returned unused and unopened you will receive a £15
refund. If you open the
liner and return the pool within the cooling off period there will be a
£30 charge to cover replacement of the liner. This is because the liner is sterile and opening
it renders it unsterile and hence can not be used for another customer.
The sterile liner looks the same as the permanent liner and so please
inspect this liner if you wish to see what it is like. If you wish to purchase an additional liner for a practice run please
contact us
If a fault develops meaning the pool can not be used for the birth we
will provide a full refund of the rental cost
- The pool must be returned to us dry with dry hoses
and filter removed (if the pool has been used). If going by courier
please address the boxes as per our return details on the FAQ page otherwise they wont reach us easily
(or maybe not at all!) and ensure the filtration unit is carefully wrapped in bubblewrap. Should
the pool arrive back wet or hoses leak water which damages either the
box or any contents you will be charged for replacements. Should the
pool arrive back and be damaged due to negligent packaging then this
damage must be paid for by you. Should the pool not arrive back due to
being mislabelled or no tracking number obtained on collection then
replacement will be at your expense.
- It is your responsibility to contact us to arrange
the return of the pool at the end of the rental period. Late pools are
charged for at the rates stated on the prices page. Please remember that
your pool may be going straight out to another customer and so late
return to us will cause them distress.
If you wish to keep the pool for longer please contact us by the end of
the rental period to see if this is possible. If you fail to contact us
regarding the return or extention of the pool rental period a fee of £50 per week is due as we may need to compensate another customer
Pools booked online are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. You
must contact us within 7 days of receipt if you wish to cancel the
contract. The pool may be inspected but not used in any way and any
filter must remain sterile so it can be reused. You must not have filled
the pool with water. We do not refund postage or delivery and set up
costs.
- If for any reason we are unable to send
your pool on the agreed date then we offer you the chance of a full
refund or if you wish to still have the pool once it is available will
refund for the late arrival pro rata. If the pool is sent by courier and
the courier collection has been agreed with by you and the courier has
been booked then you may still cancel but all courier costs will be non
refundable. We will refund the rental price to you in full minus any
delivery and return costs.
